Application

It is mainly used to prepare alkyd resin, rubber promoter and anti-aging agent, herbicide, insecticide, anti-mildew agent, propionic acid, propanol and propylamine.

GB 2760-1996 provides for spices that are permitted to be used. Mainly used for making apple, cherry, chocolate and onion flavor.

An important raw material of fine chemicals, mainly for the production of normal propyl alcohol and propionic acid, 3 hydroxymethyl ethane, propionic aldehyde oxime intermediates, such as further production of alkyd resins, pesticides, herbicides and pesticides, drugs thiazine sleep, pain and b, also widely used in coatings, plastics, food, textile, feed, rubber additives in fine chemicals production. It can also be used as chain terminator for ethylene polymerization.

Is the intermediate of insecticides pyrimidine, diamidine and pene cyanthrin, as well as the intermediates of miriptone and pyrimidine.

It can also be used as antifreeze, lubricant and dewatering agent.

It is used in the production of propanol, propionic acid and trihydroxymethyl ethane.
